Yes! Linscheid Library is open to the public, and people age 14 and over are eligible to apply for community patron library cards.  Applications can be completed at the Circulation Desk during library hours. The Information Desk in the Bill S. Cole University Center will issue the community patron library card at no charge.  Borrowing privileges are valid for one year and may be renewed at the discretion of the library.   
 
Application Requirements 

  • A parent or guardian must sign for residents under the age of 18. 
  • Residents over the age of 18 need a driver’s license or state/federal issued ID.  
  • An Ada area address
