Unfortunately the ECU library is not capable of helping students with their printing allowances or any issues that may come with it. ECU uses a software tool called PaperCut to help manage university printing resources.

At the beginning of each semester, your network account will be pre-loaded with $50.00 in print credits.  Each time you print a document from your university account on a campus computer, your balance will automatically decrease based on how many pages you print.

If you run out of print credits, you must go to the IT Help Desk to purchase more.  The Help Desk will reload your account, and your bursar account will be billed for the amount.

Additionally, your account can be over-drafted up to $2.50 for situations when you need to print but cannot make it to the Help Desk.
